Services & Fees
Emergency injured native wildlife - no charge, but we welcome and encourage donations. (Wildlife rehabbers in VA do not get support from the state. Call us at the numbers on the main page.
Our team are all VOLUNTEERS, despite their impressive backgrounds and qualifications. We each chose to do this as a form of community service. And frankly, it is usually fun for us! BUT, the fees we do ask go towards paying for our training, insurance, licenses, equipment, taxes, and other expenses we incur. All of us have regular "day jobs", and this is a side job that we do because we are passionate about both the animals and the people. If you are so inclined, a donation for the team member will be greatly appreciated to reimburse their fuel and time. (If there is a mileage fee incurred, that will go to the team member.)
Immediate, on-site capture and relocation
Starts at $30, depending on distance and difficulty of capture
We will come to your location, if possible, and remove the animal if we can. You must watch it while we are on the way, and make no attempt to harm it! If you are in the areas near the team member, we may not charge a fee, but always welcome donations. This is not a money making venture for us, but the fee is due even if the animal leaves while we are in-route.
Pay for:
Exterior Inspection and Consultation
$75-125, townhouse; $175, house, up to ½ acre
We can inspect the exterior of your home and yard, up to a 1/2 acre. If we find the offending critters, we will remove/relocate them. We will look for areas where snakes and other animals can enter your home, find outside cover or food, etc. We will make written recommendations on how to remediate your situation. We do NOT do the exclusion/carpentry work ourselves - we will let you know what is needed, if any. Our biggest and most important service is educating you on the animals that are there or could be there. Knowledge is power! Larger lots incur additional fees/time.

Pay for yard inspection:
Property Sweep (includes both interior & exterior inspections)
$225 - townhouse; $275 house with yard
We can inspect the interior of your home (up to about 2000 square feet) and yard, up to a 1/2 acre. If we find the offending critters, we will remove/relocate them, but no guarantees. We will look for areas where snakes and other animals can enter your home, find cover or food, etc. We will make written recommendations on how to remediate your situation. We do NOT do the exclusion/carpentry work ourselves - we will let you know what is needed, if any. Our biggest and most important service is educating you on the animals that are there or could be there. Knowledge is power! Larger homes or homes with lots of storage boxes/clutter, etc. will incur a higher fee as they take a longer time.
1 -2 hours time frame
Attics, Crawl Space, Basement, Shed or Garage Inspection
$50 - 75 each, depends on size
This is in addition to an exterior inspection or interior inspection. Attic sweeps may need to occur in the early morning or late evening due to high temperatures.
15-60 minutes each, depending on size, access, etc.
Trapping, price varies
Starts at $30
After we do an inspection, if we need to leave a trap, we can do so, starting at $30. You may be asked to check the trap at 12 hour intervals, depending on the situation. We will return to check and relocate any captured critters.
Cameras, price varies
Starts at $5
After we do an inspection, if we need to leave a camera, we can do so in some cases. The cameras would be located to disclose where the animals are, how they are getting in, or to alert us that they are trapped in one of our traps.
Commercial Properties
We can service commercial properties, including multi-family homes, condos, warehouses, etc. Pricing depends on the size of the property and issues that need addressing. Contact Bonnie for info.
